HubSpot is a leading developer and marketer of software solutions for inbound marketing, sales, and customer service.
For nearly 3 years, I collaborated with HubSpot and Mono Animation to create instructional videos for the HubSpot YouTube channel. These videos were designed to educate small business owners on digital marketing strategies.
Over this time, we created over 100 videos together and doubled the number of subscribers on the HubSpot Marketing YouTube channel, growing from 203k to 473k. This is an astounding amount!

Role and Workflow:
My role focused on bringing HubSpot’s scripts to life by creating videos that were engaging, visually appealing, and aligned with HubSpot’s branding.
The typical workflow included:
1. Reviewing scripts, footage, and voiceovers provided by the client.
2. Identifying key visual elements needed to tell the story effectively.
3. Editing the video, including designing and animating visuals to match the script and HubSpot's branding guidelines. This also involved color correction, searching for B-roll footage, creating and animating infographics, handling rotoscoping, and working with chroma key effects.
4. Adding soundtracks, sound effects, and transitions to enhance rhythm and viewer engagement.
This role gave me the chance to use a full range of video production skills, from design and editing to animation, color, and sound design.
